Our professional high performance master is a one year program and aims to help everyone realize their potential. This objective is achieved thanks to a fully integrated approach in the field of animation, as well as by broadening the fields of creative practice in an interdisciplinary manner. We create a space for experience and meeting that encourages dialogue with regard to the current formal, technical, thematic and theoretical concerns that are relevant today. We are committed to supporting ambitious and diverse study approaches and interests.
By relying on the expertise of the teaching staff, as a student, you integrate process-oriented studio work in relation to the practice of animation with the acquisition of theoretical principles relevant to innovative studio practice. You have access to the tremendous expertise, resources and networks of our coalition partners, Playgrounds, Submarine & Post Panic, among others, and to connections with studios and festivals in the Netherlands and abroad. Taking into account the needs of the sector in terms of creative employment, as a student, you have access to our industrial network and regularly carry out missions in collaboration with our partners, allowing them to test their ambitions in an international professional context. The program tutors are Leon van Rooij, Sarah Lugthart and Remco Vlaanderen.
Six month digital animation and VFX
Metfilm School London
Full-time six-month course for students looking to start their careers in visual effects and animation. Our graduates now work for award-winning companies, including MPC, VFX double negative, Blue Zoo Animation, Illumination MacGuff.
Our students then worked on projects such as Mr. Selfridge, Ripper Street, The Disney Jungle Book, Agent Carter, How to Change the World and Avengers: Age of Ultron.
The course lays solid foundations in the main fields of 2D and 3D CG in software such as Maya, Zbrush, Mari, 3D Equalizer and Nuke.
